The Belmont Forum RESIST Project, entitled “Resilient societies through smart-city technology: Assessing earthquake risk in ultra-high resolution” , led by Prof. Kuo-Font Ma at the National Central University of Taipei, TW, is an international-collaboration project sponsored by Taiwan, the US, and Japan with additional partners in Italy, Germany, and New Zealand. The goal of the project is to meet Disaster Risk, Reduction, and Resilience (DR3) objectives. The project focuses on combining frontier science with high-density ground and building measurements to give innovative and visualized earthquake hazard and risk assessment with integration of smart data management for disaster reduction and a resilient society (click here for more info).

The round-table Workshop will be held in Taipei on March 20-21, 2023

Along with remote participation, the free workshop will be held in person at The Lecture Hall at 1st Floor of RCEC Building of the Institute of Earth Science at Academia Sinica in Taipei, Taiwan (click here for more location).
