Fault Displacement Database and Models Workshop

Thursday November 10 2022

09:00-12:pm Pacific Time

The UCLA Natural Hazards Risk and Resiliency Research Center (NHR3) and its partners are holding a free online workshop to present a new database and set of models for estimating fault displacement amplitude. The workshop will be held on Thursday, November 10th from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm (PDT). The goal of the workshop is to introduce the new database and models, provide recommendations to researchers and practitioners on applying the new models, and compare the new results with the commonly cited existing models.

Financial support by the California Energy Commission, California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), California High-Speed Rail Authority, Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas), Pacific Gas & Electric Company (PG&E) is greatly appreciated.
