International Workshop on Autonomous System Safety (IWASS)
/IWASS is a platform for cross-industrial and interdisciplinary exchange of knowledge on autonomous systems Safety, Reliability, and Security (SRS), by invited experts and observers. The workshop gathers experts from academia, industry, and regulatory agencies, to discuss SRS challenges and their potential solutions for SRS of autonomous systems from different perspectives.
The second edition of the International Workshop on Autonomous System Safety (IWASS) was held online, in March 2021, gathering around 50 invited participants. The proceedings summarizing IWASS 2021 discussions are now available for download here (add link). IWASS is a joint effort by the B. John Garrick Institute for the Risk Sciences at UCLA and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).
The third edition of the International Workshop on Autonomous System Safety (IWASS) 2022 will be held on August 27th in Dublin, Ireland. IWASS 2022 will also count with a Paper Session and a Panel at the European Safety and Reliability Conference (ESREL).
IWASS 2022 is organized by Marilia Ramos, Ali Mosleh, Christoph Thieme (SINTEF – Norway), Ingrid B. Utne (Norwegian University of Science and Technology – NTNU), and Maria Chiara Leva (Technological University Dublin).
