Everton Nogueira Lima is a Ph.D. Candidate from University of São Paulo – USP, in Brazil. He joined GIRS from Sept 2018 to Sept 2019 as a visiting Ph.D. student. He is a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Production Development Department at PETROBRAS S/A, in Rio de Janeiro, RJ. His research focuses on the optimization of operational efficiency and costs of an oil and gas offshore topsides process plant, since the early stages of design. He is currently working on the development of a methodology with association of mathematical methods for reliability synthesis, and the use of pseudo-spatial data as input for the system/equipment failure rates.
