Shrey Upadhyay is an R&D Engineer at the University of California, Los Angeles working in the quantum optimization of sensing hardware through the application of quantum algorithms via simulations. He holds a Master's degree in Quantum Science and Technology from UCLA, where he conducted research on developing novel techniques for quantum network optimization and error correction under the supervision of Prof. Enrique Lopez Droguett. During his Bachelor of Science in Physics, Shrey was a founding member and led a startup focused on quantum finance and portfolio optimization along with working on quantum error correction protocols and architectures.
