MS Student
Majoring in Materials Science & Engineering

Sahil Dubey is a graduate student pursuing his masters in Materials Science & Engineering at UCLA. Currently, he is working in Dr. Ali Mosleh's group on the Hydrogen project where he is understanding how pipeline steels behave under the influence of hydrogen gas and developing simulation modeling to examine the fracture toughness and crack growth rate of the pipelines. Prior to UCLA, Sahil obtained his bachelor's degree in Materials Science & Engineering from Arizona State University (ASU). During his time at ASU, he has used a fatigue growth machine, used many microscopes such as scanning electron microscope, laser confocal microscope, have done accelerated aging tests using heat drying oven, and learned molecular dynamics simulations such as VASP, LAMMPS, and Simulink.
